Choc goji and pistachio slice

  • 1 cup activated almonds
  • ¾ cup dates
  • ¼ cup raw cacao
  • 3T coconut oil


  • ½ cup goji berries
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • ¾ cup shredded coconut
  • ½ cup pistachios
  • 1T raw maca powder
  • 1T vanilla powder
  • ¼ cup coconut cream
  • 2T coconut oil


  • ¼ coconut oil
  • ¼ cup raw cacao
  • ¼ cup rice malt syrup



  1. Place the almonds, dates and raw cacao powder in a food processor and pulse until they form a fine crumb.
  2. Add the coconut oil and combine.
  3. Press the mixture into a small slice tin lined with non-toxic baking paper then place it in the freezer to set.


  1. Put the goji berries, cranberries, coconut, pistachios and Maca powder in the food processor and chop until you get your desired consistency (be sure you don’t over process).
  2. Add the coconut oil and coconut cream and pulse again until the mixture is combined.
  3. Pour the mixture on top of the base, press it down firmly and put it back into the freezer to set.


  1. Combine the coconut oil, rice malt syrup and raw cacao in a small mixing bowl and stir until it is combined and resembles chocolate sauce.
  2. Once you filling is set, pour the chocolate sauce on top of your slice and spread evenly.
  3. Pop it back into the freezer for an hour or so.
  4. Remove the slice from the tin, cut it into squares and store it in an airtight container in the fridge
